Hey! It took me a while to figure out why we didn't have any comments, but after looking into error logs, I saw that many of you had trouble with the CAPTCHA for the comments. That issue has been fixed, go ahead and start commenting!
You also may have noticed that I added a shoutbox, I hope this time we can keep it for a little while longer. And if you look above, you will find a link called "Sora RSS"! You can now sign-up for the Sora Scans RSS feed! Hope you like it!

The Sora Scans forums have been updated to VBulletin 3.6.10. If you experience any issues/difficulties accessing parts of the forums, please notify me immediately. On another note, some release are gonna be coming up soon! Thanks to everyone who was patient.

Air Gear chapter 197 has been scanlated; We want to thank everyone who was patient. Unfortunately, this chapter was only released because I realized that we did have the script for it only recently. Once again, even though we are not releasing, that doesn't mean that we aren't working on the cleaning and other... Have a good day!

Hey everyone! Sorry, I just couldn't resist. I hope you got a laugh out of our April Fool's joke, I sure did reading hundreds of comments on different forums. And I must say, I couldn't have imagined the amount of loyal fans Sora Scans had. If anyone did really contact Kodansha, please give your name so I can label you a "complete moron"...
Anyways, back to scanlating. Recently, our translator has undergone a major "lifestyle change" so he won't be avaliable for a short while - that means we will delay all scanlating. That doesn't mean we have stopped working on the cleaning.
Second raffle will come up soon! The prize will be an Air Gear/Sora Scans shirt designed by our Graphics Master - Dokuro. That design is wicked nice!
I'm off, meanwhile, look forward to Code Geass Season 2 starting in a couple of days! Wooo!

I'm currently working on getting my studio online (more details to come soon), and I hope to release the Sora Manga Viewer to the public. But before that, I need some help fixing/debugging. Guess what? Air Gear 191 is out! This chapter was hard to clean and Daimaru once again did a crazy redraw on page 002-003! Say thanks to all the cleaners. Anyways, it is up on the direct download in the forums and the online manga viewer. To access the online manga viewer you need 40 posts in the forums. Once you do, PM me a username and password and I will set-up you up with an account. It is located at http://www.sorascans.info.

It is my great pleasure to introduce http://www.sorascans.info to you! This is our site that will serve as a host for the manga viewer. All chapters will be uploaded immediately after release, and the latest 3 chapters of the Air Gear manga will always be kept online. After a while, we may add other mangas.
If you want access to the manga viewer, you must have 40+ posts in the forum. Once you do, please PM me with a username and a password, and I will set you up with an account.
Finally, all menu links have been fixed. Enjoy!

Hello! As I told you earlier, I'm gonna be fixing the layout through the week and the buttons do work now, only for the selected links though. I will be fixing the rest of them soon.
Also, to the users who can't see the text, it probably means that you are using IE 6 or lower, or Firefox 1.4 or lower. Please update to the latest release of your browser, because the browsers mentioned above can not handle PNG transparency properly, and it messes up the background. Thus, you can't see the text.
vBulletin 3.7 will be installed as soon as the stable version has been released.
A new feature is coming to the Sora Scans community. I have built us a custom manga viewer, and all people who have 50 posts or above in the forums, will have access to it. The chapters will be uploaded immediately after the release and all images will still be in their original quality. Right now, it is being tested for security issues and is being edited for compatibility.
Also, to those who haven't heard the news in the forum, there has been a 1 week delay between chapters 190 and 191. Meanwhile, go read some manga at our affiliate site Franky House or download some anime from Anime Haven. Both links are in the affiliates tab. Peace!
