Hi Everyone! It's been quite awhile since i have posted here. Anyway it's just to let everyone know the group hasn't died out or abandoned all you people out there

First, I'd like to announce that Air Gear 212 and 213 have been released and are available for download. And second, I'd like to announce that I'm quitting my administrative position at Sora Scans. I am very sad to say this, especially after seeing the group go through so much… after how much work and effort was put into this… after how much fun it was. However, groups like Kuu, Binktopia and Franky did take away some of the fun. However, this is what makes the scanlation group unique. Be idle for a minute and you are relentlessly swept away.
I’m forced to do this since I’ll be starting school and work full-time late August. So spending 6-8 hours a day scanlating, will no longer be an option. If you have any kind of Photoshop abilities or have scanlation experience, make sure you send Blant a PM in the forums if you would like to help.
I am very happy that I was able to celebrate the group’s first birthday and I’m certain that everyone that stays at Sora Scans, will celebrate for years to come. I leave Sora Scans in very good hands. Thunderlord, Sora Scans’ co-founder, and Blant, Sora Scans’ admin and the technology guy. I have absolutely no doubt in their abilities to steer Sora Scans in the right direction and set the standard for a quality scanlation group. Along with them, there are several more who will be able to keep Sora Scans strong. I’m hesitant to name the people, since I know I’ll forget some. But still, thank you!
Lastly, I’m changing my name. From now on, my name will be Skynorth. So if you hear of any other Aeonsky’s on Air Gear forums, or that name popping up in another scanlation, not of Sora Scans… that will not be me. However, I will still be continuing with the trick shop, sms system and the java rpg.
Even though I’m gone, Sora Scans will stay strong. They will soar high above that broad blue sky! Think you can stop them? Just try! Peace guys, it was definitely a blast…

Hello everyone! Many of you already know that Franky House, our affiliates, started scanlating Air Gear as well. One of our moderators, thefolenangel, jumped ships quite suddenly without any kind of explanation. In chapter 213, by Franky House, the credits page states that Aeonsky typeset it. It was not me. I don't really know if another person like that exists at Franky House, and could just care less. First it was Binktopia and now it's Franky House. Well, guess what? Think you can stop us? Just try!

Chapter 212 is out! Not! If any of you ask when 212 is gonna be scanlated, you will be banned. I just went on a banning rampage, banning several people. Here is the deal... We do not have a raw for Air Gear chapter 212! Thus, we CAN NOT SCANLATE, since we have nothing to scanlate. Seriously guys, there is an status link there for a reason, use it! And if you think I can not get your IP from the shoutbox, you are wrong!

Hey everyone! We somehow managed to scanlate chapter 211 for you all. Thundelord with his 105 hour work week and with me being in a middle of nowhere with barely any Wi-Fi, it is a miracle and a testament to our dedication! Please do not forget about Daimaru and Rickysio and their excellent job cleaning! Peace out!

Guess what!? Thanks to awesome cleaning by the our cleaners Daimaru, Rickysio and Skyth and a speedy translation by Thunderlord it would be my pleasure to present Air Gear 210 to you! Sora Scans, once again, has caught up with the latest raw! On a side note, I'm hearing some disturbing rumors about the Air Gear RAW provider. However, Sora Scans is working on a plan to maybe get our own scanner! And finally, the sexy colored page was provided by Smoosh and Falling Sun! Thank you!

Hey everyone! We have a very long list of updates today. First, vBulletin has been updated to the latest version. The tricks are working again and I am working on a custom Trick shop!
Second, please welcome two new cleaners to our scanlation team! Rickysio is one of our new talented new cleaners who cleaned chapter 209 for you guys very well. Our other new talent is Skyth! He is a great addition to the team and we are glad to have him. He also had his first cleaning take on Air Gear in chapter 208, very nice job!
You might have noticed a new change to the front page of Sora Scans website. We have placed a new splash on it with our new mascot! I introduce Himeko to you! She was taken from Air Gear chapter 197, cutout and redrawn by our great artistic whiz - Falling Sun! And then some minor styling by me, we decided to make her our new mascot! Hoo-ray!
And finally, probably the most important news for you guys... Air Gear 208 has been delayed another 2 weeks. Yep, that's the truth.
Just kidding, woo! Air Gear 208 has been scanlated and uploaded to our new dedicated server, provided by the awesome Blant, and is avaliable for you to download right away. Will Kogarasumaru make it in time? Will they? Who knows, find out in this chapter!

Sora Scans is back online! Blant was the one who transfered the site, the whole 7GB. Sorry it could have been online sooner, but I was having trouble importing the forum database. Anyways, Air Gear 207 is out! Go grab it!

Sometime yesterday evening, a certain pathetic person tried to impersonate two of out staff members on the above chatbox. That person was banned. The comments stated by "Aeonsky" or "Thunderlord" are not the official views of Sora Scans or of "Aeonsky" or "Thunderlord". I am looking into contacting their ISP and filing a claim. That's it. Anymore of this stuff and I will be taking it down.

Hey everyone! Even though I forgot and this is a tad late, but anyways... I'd like you all to wish Sora Scans Happy Birthday! June 17th Sora Scans turned 1 and we are very proud of the accomplishment. Been a tough and tedious year, but we made it. And I hope Sora Scans will stay around for even more years to come! Wooo!
