First, I'd like to announce that Air Gear 212 and 213 have been released and are available for download. And second, I'd like to announce that I'm quitting my administrative position at Sora Scans. I am very sad to say this, especially after seeing the group go through so much… after how much work and effort was put into this… after how much fun it was. However, groups like Kuu, Binktopia and Franky did take away some of the fun. However, this is what makes the scanlation group unique. Be idle for a minute and you are relentlessly swept away.

I’m forced to do this since I’ll be starting school and work full-time late August. So spending 6-8 hours a day scanlating, will no longer be an option. If you have any kind of Photoshop abilities or have scanlation experience, make sure you send Blant a PM in the forums if you would like to help.

I am very happy that I was able to celebrate the group’s first birthday and I’m certain that everyone that stays at Sora Scans, will celebrate for years to come. I leave Sora Scans in very good hands. Thunderlord, Sora Scans’ co-founder, and Blant, Sora Scans’ admin and the technology guy. I have absolutely no doubt in their abilities to steer Sora Scans in the right direction and set the standard for a quality scanlation group. Along with them, there are several more who will be able to keep Sora Scans strong. I’m hesitant to name the people, since I know I’ll forget some. But still, thank you!

Lastly, I’m changing my name. From now on, my name will be Skynorth. So if you hear of any other Aeonsky’s on Air Gear forums, or that name popping up in another scanlation, not of Sora Scans… that will not be me. However, I will still be continuing with the trick shop, sms system and the java rpg.

Even though I’m gone, Sora Scans will stay strong. They will soar high above that broad blue sky! Think you can stop them? Just try! Peace guys, it was definitely a blast…
